Tax Grievance Day
Tax Grievance Day is held on the 3rd Tuesday in February.
The Village Tax Assessor has office hours on Wednesdays from 9 am – 11 am. But, on Tax Grievance Day, the Assessor extends his work hours and will be available to meet residents from 6 – 9 pm and/or accept tax grievances. Evening appointments that night must be scheduled in advance. If you have a question about your Village tax or on the grievance process, please call Ken Wunsch, Village Tax Assessor at 354-0022.
Village tax bills will be mailed to property owners at the end of May. Tax bills are payable beginning June 1st and must be paid on or before July 1st to avoid a penalty. Payment can be made by mail or in person at the Village Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 4:15 pm. Payment can also be made on-line.
Taxes can be paid by check, cash, Money Order, MasterCard or VISA. If you choose to use your credit card, there will be a 2.75% service fee imposed by the credit card processor, or a flat $1.50 for ACH, in addition to your total bill amount. (Click on link below to pay on-line)
Please call the Village Clerk’s Office if you do not receive your tax bill by early June
