MEMORIAL PARK

Pickleball Tournament

On September 11, 2020 the Village of New Hyde Park held its first Pickleball tournament at Memorial Park.  There was a large turnout of people who participated in the tournament and just as large a turnout of spectators who enjoyed watching it from the sidelines.  Even with COVID-19 and the precautions taken for everyone’s safety, our competitors and audience had a great time and are looking forward to the next tournament.  A special thanks to our Park Attendants Frank Guglielmo and Gary Arman for organizing the event.

Trustee Richard Pallisco presented a plaque to the Pickleball winners, Ray LaPollo and Frank Bacone
