In September, the Village Board awarded the Road Improvement Project bid to Intercounty Paving with a winning (and lowest) bid of $319,030. Sections of three roads were selected for repair:
South 9th Street between 6th and Stewart Avenue
5th Avenue between Covert and Premier Blvd Both of these sections will include regrading and asphalt paved, curb to curb.
South 6th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. This section of road will be milled and asphalt paved, curb to curb.
If favorable weather conditions continue, the project should be completed before the cold weather arrives.
